Qualifications : LLB, at Victoria University of Wellington.

Rae is an experienced property and commercial lawyer who joined Tompkins Wake in October 2023.  With over 15 years’ experience including having previously worked as an in-house solicitor for a local authority, Rae has a vast of knowledge of property law, with particular focus on local government property.  She has advised on a range of complex property and commercial transactions and acts for private clients on personal matters as well as corporates and local authorities. 

Some examples of her work include property acquisitions and disposals (including pursuant to the Public Works Act), commercial leasing, sale and purchase of businesses, contract drafting, subdivisions and developments as well as general advice on property and local government issues. She is an astute advisor, focused on finding practical as well as technical solutions for clients.
