• Qualifications: BA LLB (Otago).

Lachlan has been practising law for 17 years. He specialises in environmental litigation and Local Government advisory work. He has particular expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution having recently attended the Harvard University Program on Negotiation and Mediation.

He is president of the Waikato/Bay of Plenty branch of the Resource Management Lawyers Association of New Zealand.

Outside the office Lachlan enjoys music, travel and coaching his childrens’ sports teams.
