Prior to graduating LLB from the University of Auckland in 2000 Prue nursed (RCompN) at Auckland Healthcare and Fisher & Paykel. After obtaining her law degree she worked for the Employers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (Northern) in Auckland. Prue joined Tompkins Wake in 2006 and has been an Associate since March 2007.

| Peter De Luca Position: Chairman of Partners |

| Linda Robinson Position: Partner |

| Key roles: | Linda is a specialist in intellectual property and marketing law and leads the intellectual property team. She advises clients on all areas of intellectual property including trade marks, copyright, design rights, Fair Trading Act, and confidential information, preliminary patent advice and liaison with patent attorneys. Her advice is commercially pragmatic, covering essential business activities such as new product development, optimal protection of innovation, risk management around infringement, commercialisation, strategic IP management, IP aspects of contracts and IP upskilling. She is highly experienced in IP dispute resolution including litigation. |
| Qualifications: |
LLB(hons) majoring in commercial law and B Com majoring in management and marketing, both from University of Auckland; LLM(merit) in intellectual property from the University of London. In 2008 Linda undertook a World Intellectual Property Organisation Executive Course in Strategic IP Management held at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois. Linda is a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, is admitted in Victoria, Australia, is an associate of the NZ Institute of Patent Attorneys and a member of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand. Her experience was initially in marketing, and then extensive experience as a commercial litigator before becoming an IP specialist.

Linda is the author of the indigenous rights, international treaties and biodiversity sections of the NZTE Life Sciences Guide to IP; she edited the book Strategic Foresight:The Power of Standing in the Future and has written a collection of innovation in business stories for the government of Trinidad and Tobago. She has also presented at conferences, and appeared on television and radio to discuss intellectual property issues.

| Philip Taylor Position: Partner |

| Qualifications: | Phil graduated LLB BCom from the University of Otago in 1991 and G Cert App Fin from the Securities Institute of Australia in 2003. He was Senior Associate at Buddle Findlay until 2000 when he moved to Sydney to corporate and technology law firm Gilbert + Tobin. In 2002 Philip joined Fonterra and performed legal and commercial roles (including energy manager) until he joined Tompkins Wake as partner in 2006. |
